Nat Cool – Graciano, coś innego, coś nowego, coś aromatycznego inaczej, coś zamiast Beaujolais Nouveau

Wino pomysłu Dicka Niepoorta i w wykonaniu Matiasa Micheliniego. Wino powstałe ze starych krzewów Graciano, dojrzewające w betonie i stali nierdzewnej. Rubinowo-fioletowy kolor przypomina Beaujolais Nouveaux, zresztą konstrukcja na pozór także … W nosie wino jest czyste, o bardzo intensywnych aromatach czerwonych owoców, takich jak malina, truskawka, czerwona wiśnia, a także czarny pieprz, wanilia i mleczna czekolada!

Usta zaskakują miękkością i delikatnością tanin, a także smakiem owoców w czekoladzie. Wino łatwe w piciu, ale przez to przyjemne i wesołe!

Wędzone szynki, wszelkie wędliny i kiełbasy i młode sery, to idealne połączenie.
Ponieważ wino pije się z łatwością, producent zabutelkował je w litrowej butelce!

Viña Zorzal Nat Cool

Nat´Cool is naturally “cool and funky”. It represents an innovative concept initiated by Dirk Niepoort, in which various producers came together to create light and easy-drinking wines. VZW & Matías Michelini had the amazing chance to make this wine in Navarra: Nat Cool soul and Graciano grapes! Please, don´t taste it, just drink it!

VITICULTURE&WINEMAKING: VZW & Matías Michelini.

We are facing a historic vintage. The grapes were picked with an impeccable sanitary state, with ph lower than normal. Despite being a dry vintage, the rainy days were very well distributed and the vineyard did not suffer water stress. During the harvest, the temperatures were very mild, and this helped even more to that sanitary state that has impressed us so much. As a negative point, we find a considerable production reduction compared to the previous year.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Graciano
VINEYARD: A Graciano plot located in Corella.

VINIFICATION:
Hand-picked grapes. Exhaustive selection of grapes in the vineyard (knowing than the wine is 12%). 100% Destemmed grapes. Alcoholic fermentation in a stainless steel tank and a concrete tank, The concrete tank was full with the wine until It was bottled in March 2020.

APPEARANCE: Clear, medium intensity, ruby colour wine.

NOSE: Clean, high intensity aromas of red fruit such us raspberry, strawberry, red cheery, also black pepper and earthy notes.
PALATE: Dry and fresh, soft tannins and medium body. Red fruits flavours, mineral hints and a long finish.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Ideal accompaniment for cured ham, stews, game and meat dishes. Serve at a temperature between 16 º and 18 ºC.
